90s Videogame Magazines Article on BBC News

That was great! I remember reading and rereading that street fighter 2 article in mean machines before having a SNES. I was ten I think. I'd managed to play sf2 in the arcade a few times and was desparate for a SNES!

I still read PC Gamer, Edge and Wireframe plus a few non gaming mags

Oh, forgot about PC Gamer, yes, agreed!

Haven't really enjoyed Edge for ages. Too dry. And haven't come across Wireframe yet.

True - I read it since day one for 10 years or so then just got bored of it I guess. 

I actually remember the first time I felt it like I'd had enough of it - it was when they ran the issue about getting bored/ disillusioned with video games - with a picture of a man about to shoot himself in the head (presumably because he was bored with video games).
