I think your deffo younger than me da. I did agree with you all when you talking about that retro arcade pub. The owner sounds like he completely misses the point of retro arcade cabs.

Well I’d suggest, you carry on listening to the rest of the episode and see how you get on. If by the end of the episode you think nah, it’s not for me then at least you’ve given us a fair chance.

Fair enough. I’m not knocking it, free content especially around our niche hobby is always welcome. I appreciate I sound a fair bit ungrateful.

No worries, all feedback is welcome.

I've never heard or seen that arcade game Zoo Keeper so just checked it out on YouTube. What a crazy game. The sound fx must have driven your players insane.

Personally I love the sound effects as it reminds me of Robotron & Defender by Williams but yes, a few people have mentioned the sound effects.

There's certainly that old arcade quality to them, and would have sounded great for short blasts in a dingy arcade hall, but repeatedly in headphones... Madness!

I’ve not updated this thread in a while, I won’t bother linking the missing episodes as they can all be found on your favourite podcast apps.

Just a quick note to say I've really been enjoying the show having only recently started listening, I've been going through the huge back catalogue (which is handy as it doesnt really date!)
Great stuff.
