Also more than available for some jolly/Lovecraftian co op.

Are you around in about 20-30 minutes? Feel free to add me on PSN, tags in my signature. We can communicate easier then.

The English Design Works for Dark Souls III is available for pre order at Amazon, release date of 28th August. I have the Japanese version and it's beautiful. It's £45.

So my onebro run continues, it took me a while but I just beat the first boss of the second DLC, it was damn tough especially the first stage. More comments and the video in the spoiler

So phase one is just like phase two of the Friede fight except worse because these demons can cover some ground and when they both aggro it is very very dangerous. My previous weapons I had used throughout the run were useless against these guys, they have so much defense and absorption (50% damage reduction to Physical-type/Dark damages and 75% to Magic/Fire/Lightning damage), literally the only thing they are weak to is blood and boy are they weak to blood. With this in mind and some advice from the onebro community I tried the bandits dagger blood infused but I wasn't keen on the moveset so I infused the Warden Twinblades with blood and they felt a lot better. Several hours later they fell to my hand, to be honest I only got to the second phase less than 10 times whereas I must have died over 100-150 times attempting this (maybe more) and not getting past phase one. It's crucial to know the moveset of the final demon though as pretty much everything can one shot you in phase two. I always went for laser prince killing Demon in Pain first as you can cause some real damage whilst he is firing his laser and he doesn't summon aerial orbs like meteor prince, I must admit when he went for the second laser attack I thought I was dead as I was too far away to avoid it but I got lucky he seemed to shoot it into the ground in front of me, and I was trembling near the end when he had a sliver of health and I kept getting hit, so glad to have done this, now onto The Ringed City...

I've probably bored everybody silly by now with my OneBro adventures but I'm going to keep at it as I now only have 2 bosses left. Tonight I just beat the best Dragon Fight in any game ever, I love fighting Darkeater so much it's absolutely epic. This fight isn't actually anywhere near as hard as some others in the run, he's fairly predictable and all of his attacks can be avoided, but man is he a cool dragon, I actually feel bad whenever I kill him but it's just such a fun fight. Anyway here is the vid, I made a couple of panic rolls when I thought he was doing the charge but otherwise it was actually a flawless fight. So it's the Spear and SKG left and then I'm done.

What has / do you think will be the hardest boss? I’d have guessed at Nameless King / SKG but more than likely Freide.

Friede was really tough as it's just so long and I kept screwing up the second stage but once I nailed that (after about 100 tries) Black Flame wasn't too bad, I guess Bloodborne experience helped there (she's basically Maria), I posted the video further back. SoC is actually really hard at SL1, he destroyed me so much, his attacks are hard to read and come out either really quickly or delayed and he has such a varied moveset in phase 1. The Demon Prince was very hard too, I struggle with any gank bosses to be honest. Nameless was hard but I found it easier than SoC, likewise Twin Princes were really bloody hard. With only The Spear and SKG left I have a feeling SKG will be very very hard too. The Dancer too was difficult. They'd all be on the list but in what order I'm not sure as they all have different reasons for their toughness. Friede and Demon Prince probably took me the longest though, about 5-6 hours each.

How the heck do you kill the Dancer?

:(

What are you using? Buffing your weapon with human pine resin (she's weak to Dark), or using carthus rouge on a bleed weapon such as katanas or grave warden twinblades, or if you have faith dorhys knawing. Do you need a hand?

Some more advice, hug her booty and on the left side of it, she'll try and grab you but you can roll through that, then when you initiate phase 2 you have some time to wail on her before she does her spin to win wombo combo, after that just try and stay behind her but close, it's difficult.

Anyone else find this a little choppy on PS4 Pro? Probably doesn't help that I'm coming back from the PC version at 1440p60 but I don't remember it being so judder on my original PS4.

Do these tend to sell out? I'd like to get this at Christmas but won't wait if it going to be rare.

Looking on Amazon all the other ones are available so I would say probably not and you should be fine. DS3 may be more popular though, who knows!

Right, @Minion. I'm back on DS3 because I never completed The Ringed City DLC. I only have a SL151 NG+ character which I can respec so I've gone for an utter filth Sellsword Lightning Blade build, 60 FTH (Yorshka's +10) and about 60 DEX or something. Poor Sir Vinland, I shredded him in about three seconds. More of a Sunlight Cannon than Glass. I don't think I need to go through AoA but I'm doing it just to warm up for TRC which I remember being so hard that I bounced off it (with a NG+2/3 build, can't remember). It's interesting going through the Corvian Settlement though and annihilating those crow creatures, instead of panicking and running through the entire thing and then off a cliff. I'm now at the bit with the soldiers and dogs and kicking over the tree trunks. I'm just going to sprint it, do the flies, Friede get fucked and then onto TRC, hopefully with a bit more luck this time.

If not for all your praise, I would have written this off for good. I'm enjoying the game for the first time since, ooh, May 2016.

Awesome man I hope you enjoy it! There are bits of the Ringed City that are rock hard but your build sounds super awesome and towards the end you'll pick up lightning arrow which'll make your faith build even more fun.

Well, I struggled with Friede for a little while but eventually took her down with a helpful summon (not Gael). Then I legged it through the Earthen Peak Ruins and found pretty much everything along with a thousand deaths before attempting the Prince, never seen him before. Tough fight first time but I brought Gael with me for a second crack and just kept right up in his face in the final form and tore through him. DPS on this Sellsword build is insane, especially with Pontiff's Eye (can't remember which). I even managed a stagger and crit. Finally arrived in TRC for the first time and I'm impressed. Called it a day, shortly after being riddled by you know who and then one shot by you know what! I'll get there. It's actually exciting to be playing new Dark Souls and have that feeling of the unknown.
