Recommended Posts

Website here but little to go on.

http://ridevideogame.com/news/

Features 7 circuits and 5 routes (not areas)

Featrures superbike, Supersport, naked (stock) and Historic

A bike video

Not been hugely impressed by milestone over the years so this will probably be another one of those games that - like so many bike riders - falls by the wayside.

Sadly i highly doubt Milestone's handling pedigree - even if it was in.

And its hardly a complex circuit - mostly countryside and british buildings (like most circuits).

Makes you wonder why no one has tried in much the same way no one has done the real driving roads. Totally open for exploitation if you ask me.

This ain't bad.

Kinda Driveclub for bikes (in its simplified handling) with milestone rally graphics. Once you get used to the handling model (i stick it on Pro) and learn the circuit its pretty exhilarating.

Nice replay options and what looks to be an interesting track variety (as its all based on real roads). Some Manx TT without the Manx TT. At least for now.

Its no GP Bikes though.

Its on Steam too - and out in a couple of weeks.

So did anyone pick this up? It should be waiting at home for me today after work. I'm hoping for it to be like Tourist Trophy on the PS2. It's been a long time since we have had a decent road bike based racing game.

Picked this up on Xbox One and loving it. Sure it's janky as hell in places - the framerate is shocking at times, and the loading times are horrendous. But as a biker I can appreciate the work gone in to creating the fantastic bike models. The detail on them is really nice. I like the handling model as well. Most bike games feel too twitchy to me, but I can hold lines really easily in this (Set to pro with any assists off)

I think the demo is still available on Xbox One

Anyone pick up Ride 2?  I have, and started playing it last night.  It's a lot of fun if, like me, you're crap at bike racing games - it is very accessible and easy to learn, and while the graphics are far from mind-blowing, some of the tracks and courses are very nice.

I liked R2 . Like much of milestone's games it was fairly competent.

Oddly Ride 3 has video now so i'll change this thread to be about that.

It features 12 new courses making the total up to 30 and over 200 bikes with about 500 bike components....

better AI

Drone scanning track processes

More importantly its powered by Unreal 4. It looks pretty....

Oh and is out in 2 months!

Here's half of Macau...
