Forza 4 Rivals Challenge - Hockenheim - B Class AWD

Recommended Posts

It accelerates fine, you just have to feed it back into a straight line and gradually increase the throttle rather than smashing it down.

Can we break Meatball, Marmite and ThaForce's games playing equipment, ever so slightly? I'm sure there must be a way to send over a poorly set-up wheel configuration or something? :coffee:

How mean :(

Just had another go...

Meatball - 2:03.164

Tantalisingly close to ThaForce's ghost in places, but he just edges away from me on the straights. I'll keep trying though.

spatular - 2:03.024

edit - "but he just edges away from me on the straights", I haven't raced his ghost but some of that could be the manual clutch (or better corner exit obviously) depends how he uses it.

Between my last post and this one i've ran laps in about 12 different cars and spend upwards of 3 million credits just buying and upgrading stuff to try (out of around 25M still waiting to be spent!) but it's always the cars in the upper realms of the Top Scores leader board that we end up driving to get competetive times. But its still a fucking blast trying all sorts of shit out . No doubt my next posted time will be in an Exige or '69 Camaro :D

Also looking forward to the new Feb community challenges, do they normally get that stuff up in the first couple of days of the month?

The new monthly challenges arrive usually on the same day or soon after each DLC pack. Next one's out on Tuesday 7th February.

It's great that you are enjoying experimenting with various cars. That has to be what this game is all about. I picked up a waggle wheel yesterday so my next few times might not be as fast but I'm hoping it will improve things over time.

multiclunk - A600 Lotus Exige '06 - 1:36.673

I'm past the deadline but hopefully its a little bit of an elastic deadline and my time can still be counted (not that its gonna upset the leaderboard really though, is it?)

Boozy - B500 - Lancia Delta - 1:16.953

Tune - Grip 500b

Creator - Wong Hung Low

It's a big sexy beast of a car and I drove using the waggle wheel. It's an easy track to dirty up a lap without doing much. You seem to need to get the last half right otherwise you'll carry it on to the next lap. So I was driving fairly carefully. I'm sure some of you can do much better.

Well I think it's safe to say this is now dead. Combined with the lack of online racers I'm seeing and overall lack of interest in the game among the club, I'm disappointed to say the least. What happened ? I'm glad that RFT is still keeping things afloat with his race series but staggered at the general lack of participation outside of that.

As ever thanks to those who joined in while it lasted.

Cheers

Boozy.

:( Thanks for running this Boozy, I appriciate the time and effort you've put in. Such a pity there aren't the numbers around anymore, I've had a lot of fun doing these TT's.

I'm still playing Forza a heck of a lot but my shifts at work mean I'm not always around to join in the online stuff. I've also just got control of my live accound after it was suspended last week after being hacked (FIFA twats)

If I'm around I'm still well up for some online stuff.
