Figured the launch of the Patreon is as good a time as any to give my favourite podcast it’s own thread (and I felt a bit self-conscious talking meat tent lore in the mega thread) Anyway if you’ve not heard it before it’s two British games journos (one ex now) that between them have written for Edge, Play, PC Gamer, Guardian and Ngamer (amongst others) talking about games in a very thoughtful and considered way (with a load of nonsense about sandwiches thrown in too) They’ve had episodes dedicated to making print mags (what goes into making previews, reviews etc) as well as more general topics like “best games of…” specific years and franchise deep dives.
