  1. [Edit 16/12/14] Heists have been revealed! Info here: http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/274193-gta-online/?p=10175135 Thought we could do with a seperate thread for this now as it's bound to be very popular to say the least! Here's R*'s faq: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/51422/some-more-details-on-grand-theft-auto-online.html Links to the official Rllmuk crews: 360 - http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/rllmuk PS3 - http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/rllmuk_ps3 Couple of basic gameplay mechanics that may not be immediately obvious (spoilered in case you want to find these out for yourself, no mission or story spoilers)
  2. That's all you get. That's it. It was enough to make me get out of bed at 2am and scream OH MY GOD
  3. Champion Edition is out now: It's £25 and includes all characters released as of 14th February 2020 as well as the majority* of the game's cosmetic DLC. This version launches alongside returning Street Fighter IV boss character Seth. Launch Trailer: *Excludes the "Fighting Chance" costumes which can only be won with Fight Money and the Capcom Pro Tour DLC packs (four stages and a dozen costumes). ................... Original post: Street Fighter V! Exclusive to PS4 and PC with cross-platform play using Capcom Fighters Network IDs. Below is a google doc link of Rllmuk players and their IDs for the game (and other fighting games); please add your details and let's fight, like gentlemen! If you use the Capcom Fighters Network option on the main menu and Rival Search you can add players to your Favourites; their names and status will then appear as a list when you use the Battle Lounge's Invite option. 4. I played this for hours last week in Sweden. (And did a couple of days of snow and ice drifting to match.) Ask away!
  5. STOP THREAD COMING TO PS4 AND XBONE It bloody well could be. This will be the next simulator from the guys who bought you netKar Pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy... Its also moddable.. Indeed netKar and FVA are considered very decent sims but theres little in the way of pictures or track details so its more about putting it out there. Heres the first movie... And it doesn't say much most other games don't do. But one thing that will froth the racing heads is their first car sign up and for that i can show you a movie.. Excited? Well i can tell you the game will feature graphical details such as Full defered rendering with shadows, HDR, bloom and even words like AO which i'm not sure what they even mean and word on the net is this is THE sim to watch. And its due in 2012, although may likely go down the same Beta route both Rfactor and pCARS as gone.
  6. By Capcom Official Site | Steam | PS4 | XB1 Release date: January 24, 2017 ABOUT IMAGES VIDEOS PS4 demo out now. Download that asap and post impressions! POST RELEASE
  7. Doomfist; Anniversary Event 23rd May - 12th June
  8. I know we have dedicated next-gen threads, but I started a fresh one for this because at this point in the cycle any specific discussions will end up buried under the avalanche of ZOMG MY STATUS JUST CHANGED TO PUTTING STAMPS ON THE PARCEL!!! The headset that comes with the PS4 looks like it was made by Blue Peter, the Xbone headset looks better but I up imagine a lot will want to replace with their own. What recommendations do people have for decent headsets to use with next-gen. I understand that the PS4 will use pretty much any headset as long as it has the right jack. Anyone have any recommendations for a decent over-one-ear + mic model (as I still want to hear the game audio through the TV)?

    Fall Guys

So, Fall Guys has a release date - the 4th August. I have absolutely no idea if this will be any good or not, but a lot about it appeals to me. It's bright, colourful - looks as though it's got questionable physics and doesn't really require any sort of skill outside of persistence so it's not something that I'm going to be automatically terrible at as I close on my 40th year. ... it basically seems to be some sort of obstacle course game for 60 people based loosely on those questionably safe Japanese game shows where you need to cross a bridge while they fire a sandblasters at you from all directions. If you fail to make the course, you're out and everyone else proceeds to the next round, until there's only one player remaining. On top of all this, it features digital dress-up and is only £16 on the Steam store, which is about the amount of money I'm willing to risk on something like this on the off-chance I periodically have a bit of fun with it. If it was coming out at £44.99, I might feel a little different, but depending on how well the thing controls, this could be a lot of fun.
  10. Fresh from the exceedingly grim atmosphere portrayed in Vampyr, here's another interesting, though very dark, prospect.
  11. I couldn't find a thread for this so apologies if a duplicate. After playing this at EGX last year I picked this up today for it's paltry budget price. If you liked Inside then just go buy Little Nightmares now. I'm I think about half way through and it is utterly brilliant. It's looking like being one of my favourites games so far this year and that's saying something given the year we've had already. Basically take Inside, a dash of Trapdoor, Little Big Planet and a dash of your childhood fears and you're there. I urge people to not watch spoilers and take the plunge. I just hope the rest holds up to what I've played so far. As info this runs at 60fps on PS4 Pro and at a higher res, looks fine on my standard model though.
  12. New scrolling brawler by the guys that brought you Xeno Crisis and Battle Axe. With a soundtrack by Utah Saints! Looking like a mash up of Double dragon, Streets of rage and Final fight. So ready for another scrolling fighter.
  13. First YAY Xbox. Second oh thank fuck it looks live they;ve dropped the "real world" military vibe of it and gone more to the classsic era.
  14. https://p-ch.jp/remaster/portal/ Holy shit. PC! I can throw out these other consoles at last! (provided the required specs are okay, and the ports are decent) Would have loved the P2s as well but they're not the easiest things to get on with. P5R will be the first one to be released, on October 21. The remaster portal also has some fine print about distribution: P3P and P4G will be digital downloads only; P5R will be a digital download for Xbox and PC, so presumably it will be available as a physical release on PS5 and Switch. Furthermore, there are no plans for any kind of free PS4->PS5 upgrade if you already have Royal on PS4. My immediate reaction on Twitter: More details when I have time, or something Original game threads: P3 | P4(G) | P5
  15. Cause no-one seems to bother to make a proper thread and/or update the ones in existence, and since the original Xbox Psychonauts is one of my all-time favourite games, I'm making a thread myself. Psychonauts 2 is the long awaited sequel to the cult classic Psychonauts, which was an awesome 3D action-platformer that saw players litterally dive into the minds of different people, leading to a colourful and insane world in which the imagination of the creators seemed to be the only limitation. The first game came out in 2005, so it's been over 15 years since this incredibly unique psychological platformer hit consoles. Thankfully, Psychonauts 2 - after all its development/publisher niggles - now really seems to be happening, and Double Fine, the creators behind the series and many other unique titles, is aiming to make it bigger and better than the original in every way. Psychonauts 2 was first officially announced back in 2015, and since then it's been a very long and very bumpy road to release, with numerous setbacks and compromises Double Fine had to make for the project. After a successful crowdfunding campaign and an acquisition from a larger company, Double Fine is all set to make Psychonauts 2 a reality sometime in 2021. There were times when it wasn't sure the project was even going to survive, but Psychonauts 2 is now pretty much inevitable at this point. The story of the sequel picks up a few years after the end of the first game, when Razputin Aquato, trained acrobat and powerful young psychic, has realized his life long dream of joining the international psychic espionage organization known as the Psychonauts. But now these psychic super spies are in trouble. Their leader hasn't been the same since he was kidnapped, and what's worse, there's a mole hiding in the Psychonauts' headquarters. Raz must use all his powers to stop the mole before they execute their secret plan — to bring the murderous psychic villain, Maligula, back from the dead! First trailer: Action trailer: Launch trailer: >> Official website. Release: August 25th, 2021. Which is awesome!
  16. No platforms announced yet, but if this isn't next gen and the number of enemies and things getting blown up DON'T bring the framerate of the PS5 to its knees, then they've failed. EDF! EDF! EDF!
  17. Really like the look of this. Out August 16th Looks stunning and enormously fun! I'm a sucker for games featuring ludicrous futuristic bloodsports though. I long for an xcom style tbt management game with a 1970s Rollerball style setting
  18. Coming Spring 2016 to Playstation 4, Xbone and PC. It's apparently going to be the final Dark Souls game and it just looks like it may well be set in Lordran.
  19. By Ubisoft Paris Official Site Release Date: March 7 ABOUT IMAGES VIDEOS Just announced at Ubi's Press conference. Ghost Recon goes Smugglers Run, Far Cry, Mercenaries, and everything else.
  20. The second release in The Dark Pictures Anthology came out yesterday, following Man of Medan last year. I've put maybe 3 hours into this so far, and really enjoying it. I found Man of Medan very disappointing, especially after loving Until Dawn - which thankfully Little Hope feels closer to. The voice acting has impressed for the most part (you'll always get some lines that don't sound like real reactions to the choice you've made), and the story is going in some interesting directions. Playing on PC this time around (PS4 for UD/Mom) and its a great looking game that's definitely taxing my 1070 in places. It can be picked up for £20 - £25, so if you're looking for some Halloween spoopy fun, consider giving it a shot.
  21. Capcom a few months ago announced Exoprimal. Dinosaurs are falling from the sky and only you can save humanity or something. From the brief video below it looks a bit like EDF but with dinosaurs. Looks promising. Due out next year.
  22. Out in September: I've never played a River City/Kunio-kun game (I only know Ransom because American NES owners tend to look back on it fondly). These brief clips of pixel animation combat look good!
  23. Supermassive's follow up to Until Dawn - features couch and online co-op. Out August 30th 2019
  24. Please be good, please be good, please get swinging right, please be good
