Couldn't find another thread on this (did a quick search though so feel free to merge) so thought I might start one... One of the shortcomings of the GT series over the years is the sound however it's looking good this time as some focus seems to have been put into this! http://uk.ign.com/articles/2017/06/28/gran-turismo-sport-creator-kazunori-yamauchi-talks-sound-steering-wheels-and-shifting-gears-ign-first Sounding very impressive so far...

  5. Anybody else using remote play? I've used the MOGA adapters with my phone (pixel 5) and it has worked amazingly well*, playing Forza and Outer Wilds in bed is fantastic, and whilst the screen isn't as big it hasn't mattered yet. I've had some sound issues, but I think that's because I've plugged the headphones into the controller whilst I'm waiting for wireless headphones to arrive. I've also tried it on my laptop, but no dice. Apparenty that's One X/S only, so I'm hoping a fix for that comes along soon. I've also tried it on my ipad, but it has difficulties connecting to the controller. Not sure if anybody else has tried it. *Not Tetris Effect though, that's the only game I've found so far that can't be remotely played.
  6. Cause no-one seems to bother to make a proper thread and/or update the ones in existence, and since the original Xbox Psychonauts is one of my all-time favourite games, I'm making a thread myself. Psychonauts 2 is the long awaited sequel to the cult classic Psychonauts, which was an awesome 3D action-platformer that saw players litterally dive into the minds of different people, leading to a colourful and insane world in which the imagination of the creators seemed to be the only limitation. The first game came out in 2005, so it's been over 15 years since this incredibly unique psychological platformer hit consoles. Thankfully, Psychonauts 2 - after all its development/publisher niggles - now really seems to be happening, and Double Fine, the creators behind the series and many other unique titles, is aiming to make it bigger and better than the original in every way. Psychonauts 2 was first officially announced back in 2015, and since then it's been a very long and very bumpy road to release, with numerous setbacks and compromises Double Fine had to make for the project. After a successful crowdfunding campaign and an acquisition from a larger company, Double Fine is all set to make Psychonauts 2 a reality sometime in 2021. There were times when it wasn't sure the project was even going to survive, but Psychonauts 2 is now pretty much inevitable at this point. The story of the sequel picks up a few years after the end of the first game, when Razputin Aquato, trained acrobat and powerful young psychic, has realized his life long dream of joining the international psychic espionage organization known as the Psychonauts. But now these psychic super spies are in trouble. Their leader hasn't been the same since he was kidnapped, and what's worse, there's a mole hiding in the Psychonauts' headquarters. Raz must use all his powers to stop the mole before they execute their secret plan — to bring the murderous psychic villain, Maligula, back from the dead! First trailer: Action trailer: Launch trailer: >> Official website. Release: August 25th, 2021. Which is awesome!

    Disco Elysium

So Disco Elysium has finally got a release date. Isometric urban fantasy/new weird detective RPG. OCTOBER 15TH!!! Devs are saying it'll be 60+ hours of sprawling isometric role playing goodness. I won't lie to you, I'm pretty excited by this. There's been an absolute deluge of isometric RPGs these last few years but this one looks pretty original.
  8. STOP THREAD COMING TO PS4 AND XBONE It bloody well could be. This will be the next simulator from the guys who bought you netKar Pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy... Its also moddable.. Indeed netKar and FVA are considered very decent sims but theres little in the way of pictures or track details so its more about putting it out there. Heres the first movie... And it doesn't say much most other games don't do. But one thing that will froth the racing heads is their first car sign up and for that i can show you a movie.. Excited? Well i can tell you the game will feature graphical details such as Full defered rendering with shadows, HDR, bloom and even words like AO which i'm not sure what they even mean and word on the net is this is THE sim to watch. And its due in 2012, although may likely go down the same Beta route both Rfactor and pCARS as gone.
  9. Looks pretty decent. It kinda looks like it's set in Canada based on the pre rendered video?
  10. Well, it's certainly different, I guess...

  15. Haven't read about this at all on here... and thought if true it deserved a thread all of its own... From Eurogamer.... PlayStation 4 VR headset finally coming at GDC - report Sony's virtual reality bet just weeks from announce. By Tom Phillips Published Friday, 21 February 2014 Sony's PlayStation 4 virtual reality headset will finally be unveiled next month at GDC 2014, a new report suggests. TechRadar reports that the anticipated VR device will be formally announced at the San Francisco conference next month, which begins 17th March. Like the Oculus Rift headset, the virtual reality visor will wrap a pair of screens onto the wearer's head. But, unlike Oculus, Sony is expected to have perfected the technology to a degree that multiple versions of the hardware won't need to be released. "Sony has deliberately taken its time to tweak and polish the headset before revealing it," a source said. "People will definitely be impressed with what Sony's built." Eurogamer broke news of the headset last September, when we learnt that it had originally been destined for a reveal at Gamescom 2013. Its unveiling there was pulled, and its appearance delayed into 2014 - a moment that now sounds on the horizon. When quizzed about the device last year, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida simply said: "We don't talk about that."
  16. Most important bit currently: Switch version out on August 7, 2018! Should leave you with enough time to complete Hollow Knight. Free DLC added! First paid DLC batch added! Ooo, another free update! The second paid DLC includes Castlevaniaesque floaty sword!
  17. Hey there! It has been revealed in Famitsu that the next Ace Attorney game will be set in the Meiji era of Japan (mid 19th century to early 20th century) and is being developed by original series creator and Ghost-Tricker Shu Takumi! Here's a pic of the main character, maybe an ancestor of Nicky boy. He's got a proper Samurai sword and everything! The full title is apparently "Dai Gyakuten Saiban - Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken (Grand Turnabout Trial - The Adventures of Naruhodou Ryuunosuke" Oh, it's for the 3DS BTW. No word of a localisation as yet, but I think AA5 did quite well so keep your fingers crossed. Also, there is an AA6 being developed by the AA5 team which is a more conventional modern-day sequel so wach out for that too.
  18. Release date: 4th October 2019.
  19. First trailer: By voice actor for three dog. Sadly Obsidian are extremely unlikely to be involved given their kickstarter project and the whole metacritic bonus fiasco but whoop anyway! FO3 was still great.
  20. Doomfist; Anniversary Event 23rd May - 12th June

  22. Introducing Babylon's Fall / [ バビロンズフォール ] Trailers: Original thread text: Recently revealed at Square Enix's E3 conference this week, I thought we may as well get started with a thread for this. I did some freeze-frames on the captions and there's a lot of setup for the story premise. An unknown power named the Oversoul can forsee future events and be harnessed in weapons, but an all-consuming darkness is forseen - the only indication of "mankind's revival" coming from the "darklands". Meanwhile, riots break out over the Oversoul (ab)use, and the elder gods strike down against mankind because riots aren't cool. The goddess Gaia steps in to create a new world that saves mankind from extinction, and the Scholars of Gaia are formed to help maintain faith in the goddess. New and old ideologies clash, Gaia kicks off, and humanity must strike back. That was in 2018. Since then, very little was revealed for several years - we got some trailers and promotional images, but it wasn't until summer of 2021 that we found out that it would be a "live service" co-op action RPG for 4 players - with loot, crafting, and customisation. Rather than having something like a skill tree, you'll be relying on your acquisition of high-level equipment to overcome challenges, so it sounds like it's the typical loop of missions and looting that you'd get in similar online service-based titles. A closed beta has been ongoing across all platforms, but I haven't really spoken to anyone who managed to get in, and they probably have agreements in place to avoid revealing too much. For now, I'll only be able to share the officially released news and media that everyone has access to. A few Platinum fans are kind of disappointed after discovering what kind of game this will be - and honestly, I'm there too. At the same time, I have a long-term Destiny 2 habit at the moment ... but this will have to be pretty special to convince me to juggle two service-based games. 23. https://www.gematsu.com/2021/09/castlevania-advance-collection-rated-for-ps4-xbox-one-switch-and-pc-in-taiwan Looks like we are getting another Castlevania collection composing of the GBA games along with Dracula X (so not the superior PCE Rondo of Blood). Dracula X seems a strange choice, given it is a linear type game, rather than the exploration type the GBA games were. Surely SotN would fit better. I guess they are keeping that one back to extract that final drop of blood from this particular stone.
