  1. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Yeah, that once happened to me for no apparent reason. Normally, if you try and take a dream in your own town it won't work. That has now changed because you have a new code. Now you can use the old code to dream of your town as it was at the time you last registered your town with that code. You can meet yourself in the dream.

  3. Metroid: Samus Returns

So it was. I've edited that mistake, thanks.
  4. Metroid: Samus Returns

It's a download for Metroid II: Return of Samus which is the Game Boy original. A bit like Metroid 1 came on the cartridge for its remake, Zero Mission, on the GBA.
  5. The Last Guardian

My special edition from GAME: It must be an error at the factory rather than GAME seeing as the box was sealed.
  6. If you do that bit right you should never see any missiles launch. You just have to target the launchers the moment they become vunerable. This video (not mine) shows how the whole level should be done (100%):
  7. From the list of games on sale, these ones are 50Hz: Donkey Kong 64 Kirby’s Adventure Super Metroid The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Everything else is 60Hz.

  9. Super Mario Maker

I was playing some of the official Nintendo courses the other day and played a level called Bowser's Puzzle Dungeon (Makers>Official>Bowser), C383-0000-000D-F639. It's a medium difficulty puzzle level and it's one of the best levels I've played so far.
  10. Super Mario Maker

For fans of really hard levels: Panga has done it again. Pit of Panga: P-Break was considered by many to be the hardest level so far. It took its creator 5 hours to make and 9 hours to beat it so he could upload it (it has currently had 55 successful clearances from 1,944,291 attempts, less than 0.00003%). Pit of Panga: U-Break (0% after 68578 attempts so far) is the new hardest level and took 11 hours to make and 39 hours to beat. I'm too gutless to even try because I know I wouldn't get past the first part.
  11. Super Mario Maker

I'd like to echo lordcookie, this is an excellent level and one of my favourites so far. I loved the way you developed the concept throughout the level. I've never thought of putting a Thwomp on a mole.
  12. Super Mario Maker

I've made two new levels. Invisible Gravity Swap: 4621-0000-00C3-282E You can make completely invisible platforms, as mentioned in the link posted by robotattack the other day: http://kotaku.com/players-are-bending-and-breaking-mario-maker-and-the-r-1737615599 I have used this to create a level where the flipped version of the level is invisible. You have an opportunity to look at the unflipped visible version first and a pretty low difficulty level. It is a combination I hope steers the level away from being cheap. SMW Style Castle: 4DF1-0000-00C0-0F02 My intention was to make a 'nice' castle level which is fun but doesn't push the difficulty level too high. It has just over a 10% completion rate from its first 24 hours which is pretty much what I was going for. If it's too easy, try to match (or beat) my 19 second speed run.
  13. Super Mario Maker

I’ve made two very hard courses: 71D2-0000-00AC-86E1 0A67-0000-00AC9FD3 After some levels I made earlier that have proved to be too hard, rather than go soft I decided to go in the other direction. Broker’s latest level has also shown to me how the really hard stuff is probably better in short form. I was making a really hard level but decided to split it in two. The first has a 20 second time limit and the second a 30 second time limit. Neither has more than a couple of seconds to spare at the end of a perfect run.
  14. Super Mario Maker

You can see on your level preview where people have lost lives. It will look very different after my attempts. I lost one life when I jumped too early at the end and hit the roof and bumped off it into the pit at the foot of the goal. Differences between my completion and your video: - I hit the invisible blocks at the start and used them as a platform to get over to the first switch. - When I grabbed the spike shell I jumped to the first block and pressed down to put it on rather than jump up to the other block (which I never touched) and throw it upwards. - On the thwomp I hit the invisible block and hit the enemy from the pipe so it would sit on the right side of the block. This gave me a couple of seconds to prepare for the next move but if I waited long enough that another enemy came out I always had issues (the two would most often take each other out). I would then jump up on the block, kick the shell and then jump at the last moment to make it over to the next section. I think the jump is probably a little more difficult to make but you don’t have to be so accurate with the timing of hitting the enemy.
  15. Super Mario Maker

I like it. I think that high difficulty really works as a shorter stage. This one was such a short, sharp interesting challenge that I decided to spend some extra time completing it 4 times, just to spoil your completion percentage. This is good too. I think the length of the level is the hardest thing about it although the bit at the end is pretty difficult.
