New Super Lucky’s Tale(Switch) 7/10 7. Catherine: Full Body(PS4) 8.5/10 8. Untitled Goose Game(Switch) - Might get some down votes for this but I really wasn't keen on this, the art style and the humour definitely were the highlights for me but I felt like I just wanted it to be over once the novelty has worn off, its not a bad game by any means and for what it is I can understand the appeal but I don't really get the hype surrounding the game. Glad I played it to say I have but I wont look back over my 2-3hrs with the game with to much fondness. 6/10

New Super Lucky’s Tale(Switch) 7/10 7. Catherine: Full Body(PS4) - Played through the game on easy, took around 10hr 30 mins. Really enjoyed the game, especially the puzzle gameplay, story and art style. Going to replay it on normal and get a different ending in a month or two when I finished some other games on my list 8.5/10
  3. 1. Resident Evil 7(XB1) 8/10 2. Batman Arkham Asylum(XB1) 7.5/10 3. Halo: CE Anniversary(XB1) 5/10 4. Life is Strange(XB1) 8/10 5. Luigi Mansion 3(Switch) 8/10 6. New Super Lucky’s Tale(Switch) - Overall a solid platformer that took me roughly 10hrs to complete, mostly played whilst watching YouTube so didn’t take much notice of the story, not a very challenging game but still kept me playing with its varied levels. I will finish the world that opens after the credits and collect the last couple of missing pages before putting it down. 7/10
  4. 1. Resident Evil 7(XB1) 8/10 2. Batman Arkham Asylum(XB1) 7.5/10 3. Halo: CE Anniversary(XB1) 5/10 4. Life is Strange(XB1) 8/10 5. Luigi Mansion 3(Switch) - Started back in October when it first launched and fell off it after 8hrs, came back on it last week and finished it off, typically Nintendo first party game, full of polish with fun gameplay. I would have given it a higher score however I have played 6 other games since I stopped playing it originally so it clearly didn’t blow me away last year. 8/10
  5. 1. Resident Evil 7(XB1) 8/10 2. Batman Arkham Asylum(XB1) 7.5/10 3. Halo: CE Anniversary(XB1) 5/10 4. Life is Strange(XB1) - Started this game on multiple occasions over the last few years and never got past the 1st episode, finally committed myself to playing it all the way through and I’m glad I did, baring the odd slow moment it kept me gripped throughout it’s 9-10hrs, it has a good story, interesting characters and a fantastic soundtrack. Recommended for those who enjoy a story driven adventure games 8/10
  6. 1. Resident Evil 7(XB1) 8/10 2. Batman Arkham Asylum(XB1) 7.5/10 3. Halo: CE Anniversary(XB1) - Started this before Christmas and only finished it because I had invested so much time into it. Pretty much a slog all the way through, levels were repetitive and far to long which unfortunately has tainted my nostalgia for the game and put me off playing any of the other Halo games. 5/10
  7. January 1. Resident Evil 7(XB1) - After finishing Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 4 last year I was after more Resident Evil, didn’t enjoy it as much as 2 and 4 but still a solid horror game, played through most of DLC which I mostly enjoyed and would recommend if found at a cheap price. 8/10 2.Batman Arkham Asylum(XB1) - Played this originally on PS3 and still holds up in 2020, combat is still great, gameplay felt varied and story was pretty interesting. 7.5/10
  8. I went for an Xbox One X the Star Wars Edition for £300 from Game. We been looking to get a Blu-ray player for the lounge so it was a nice excuse, Game Pass and the backwards compatibility of the Xbox pushed it over getting a PS4 for me. Enjoying the Xbox experience so far even though Star Wars is hard as nails.
  9. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/xbox-one-x-console-with-star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-2-months-now-tv-entertainment-pass-29999-game-3341312 £300 for Xbox One X with Star Wars Jedi Fallen and 2 Months of Now TV. Goes live tomorrow seems like a pretty good deal to me.
  10. Been considering getting Xbox One X this Black Friday what is the general consensus on which is better PS4 Pro vs XB1X. As far as I can tell other than better exclusives the XB1X is the better console to own.
  11. Has anyone played Kine? It got a pretty good write up on Kotaku. https://kotaku.com/kines-musical-puzzle-solving-will-melt-your-heart-and-b-1839613138
  12. You can do but it will wipe all data so you will have to download your purchases/updates again.
  13. Playing Tetris for 10 mins made me realise how uncomfortable the position of the dpad is, it’s a shame as I much prefer the design, size and weight of the lite over the OG Switch and I thought having a proper dpad would be a better but from a Tetris point of view it’s unfortunately not IMO.
  14. Has anyone brought Super Dodgeball Beat from eshop if so how is it? Seen a few videos online and seems like it would be good.
  15. I have recently started working on a new project in my spare time, a 3D procedurally generated endless golf game for mobile. I was considering blogging my development process however I haven’t done anything like that before, is it something people would be interested in and if so any recommendations on platform(written only as I wouldn’t be able to show my face on blog for work related reasons)
