    Allan Holdsworth RIP

Yeah, gutted to hear this. I tried to gets tickets to see him play for the first time a few years ago but he cancelled the tour due to illness. I listen to his stuff almost everyday at work and love his chord progressions and agility. Not sure what else to say.... http://www.guitarworld.com/artist-news/joe-satriani-steve-vai-and-others-pay-tribute-allan-holdsworth/31043 I love this gig:

@Rowan Morrison https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CXSJUZS/ref=sr_ph_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479635185&sr=sr-1&keywords=op-1 Cheap again. What's going on?! EDIT: Ah, it's a new company on Amazon. Probably should avoid. EDIT2: Incidentally, something I've noticed with how Amazon works is that this low price is brining down the price of the items sold and dispatched by Amazon to £566, which is a big discount in itself. EDIT3: Price is back up again and the marketplace company looks to have vanished. Next time this happens I might buy the £566 one despatched by Amazon if this happens again.

Yeah, it was just to have fun with really. A nice way to instantly jam like this guy does a lot. The DAW is really for me to learn about music creation and to be able to record my own guitar and bass in to hopefully one day. I have a Line 6 KB37, so I'm able to right now but must learn the DAW first. EDIT: sorry, I've derailed the thread slightly with my non-purchase.

They've cancelled the order! I managed to get it for £362.77 but the price has gone back to £631.63. It looks like the seller has left Amazon for good now. What a shame! EDIT: I've just purchased Logic Pro X, so I should probably just stick to learning that first before buying any gear anyway!

I must have bought the last one from a certain supplier as it's now unavailable at the price I got: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Teenage-Engineering-Portable-Synthesizer-Controller/dp/B00CXSJUZS/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A1VWZJYS32J9EY I hope it's there's no faults with it. I'm not too impressed by those reviews.

If anyone's interested, the OP-1 has just dropped massively in price! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Teenage-Engineering-Portable-Synthesizer-Controller/dp/B00CXSJUZS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479288500&sr=8-1&keywords=op-1

I missed Max's pit. Did he need to coz tyres were done or did they just change strategy or both?

First time I've watched a full race in ages! Great entertainment. Yes, Max can be a multiple world champion but you can say that about lots of guys over the years. Let's hope the cars are more competitive next year, so we can see that.

If you watch the Channel 4 highlights from 1:28:00 then you get to see the cringeworthy moment when Justin Bieber joins Hamilton on the track to congratulate him. Are the Redbulls now better on low speed circuits? Redbull 1, 2 at Hungry? It's a while away though I realise.

    The Jazz Thread

I've been listening to far too much Allan Holdsworth lately to the point of ruining his music forever. I've already done the same with Jean Luc Ponty. Can anyone please recommend some other music similar to the styles mentioned above? Thanks!
