  1. Monster Hunter: World

I love that they keep the monsters behind two pieces of rope when you capture them. Real safe guys. To make myself feel better, I imagine that they've slashed all of their tendons so that they can't move. Before they send them to that pretty farm in the country, of course. I'm guessing their tendons regrow at that point, right?

  3. Star Trek Discovery - new TV show materialising 24 Sep 2017

It feels like this whole show has been Bryan Fuller (or whoever replaced him) giving the middle finger to pretty much all segments of the fanbase for a full 15 (or so) hours. And it turns out I kind of like that? Roll on season 2!
  4. Monster Hunter: World

Apologies! I think it was my personal connection that was causing me issues yesterday, so it's being left of all day today to think about what it has done. I'll hopefully be able to join tonight! I was at least able to play some solo and get my full Odogoron armour set however, so it wasn't all bad

I'm on Xbox too! My gamertag is Andy Why if you want to add me. I think I may already have already added you ages ago Yiggy.
  6. the greatest line in cinema history is

Damn! I was happy with mine and then @Nick R immediately comes along and blows it out of the water. My favourite non-line is also from that film. It's when Blade mouths 'What the fuck?'.
  7. the greatest line in cinema history is

'Where all the white women at?'
  8. Monster Hunter: World

I've played the majority of the game Solo and have really enjoyed it. Well worth a look even if you are going to get online occasionally.
  9. The Room

There are 15th Anniversary Screenings of this in London all of next week, and both Tommy and Greg are going to be there. I got tickets for the Thursday night! Can't wait. It'll be my first time seeing it. Someone sent me a primer on what to expect from the live screenings. It sounds like it's going to be a hoot.
  10. Food Prepping

Tell me about it! I was very wary when I saw how much, but it really works very well. Let me know what you think of it!
  11. I don't think there is any question we won't see a Ms Marvel movie at some point. I think Marvel has a VERY long road map planned out for all of this, and I'd be stunned if she wasn't part of the plan. Also, I don't get why people are worried about her due to the nature of her character in the comics. The movies have proved themselves to be very different beasts to the comics. Guardians is the perfect example. All of them were fairly boring and shit in the comics. And now it's one of Marvels' biggest hits. As long as they use the comics as a framework to build something , this could be great.
  12. Food Prepping

Gotters, never stop posting this stuff. It's great and really inspirational. I've still not made it past prepping soups for my lunches, but I'll get there! Though, with that in mind, here is an amazing recipe of Lemony Lentil Soup which I made recently and really enjoyed- Lemony Lentil Soup Serves 8 Ingredients 400g red lentils 2 tbsp olive oil 1 large onion, diced 2 tsp salt 5 cloves of garlic, crushed 3 carrots, diced 1 tsp pepper ¼ tsp red chili flakes 1 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp fresh rosemary 2 bay leaves 1.4 ltr chicken or veg stock Juice of 2 lemons 2 tsp lemon zest 120g feta cheese 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped Method Rinse the lentils in a colander and leave to drain. Heat the olive oil in a large pot, add onions and sauté until translucent. Add carrots, garlic, salt, pepper, chili flakes, rosemary, oregano and bay leaves. Stir well and sauté until the carrots are tender. Add the stock and lentils and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 25 mins or until the lentils are soft. Remove the bay leaves. You may puree the soup at this stage or just leave it as is. Add the lemon juice, zest and more salt and pepper to taste. To serve, ladle the soup into bowls and sprinkle the feta and dill on top.
  13. Games with Gold for February

I've just found out that they've added Driver: San Francisco to backwards compatibility too! That's two of my multiplayer favourites on there now. Great stuff.
  14. Black Mirror

Hey! He wasn't bad, just misunderstood. And somehow... sexier.
  15. Games with Gold for February

    Nice! Is Split/Second backwards compatible?
