  6. There Will Be Blood. Saw it twice at the time. Then earlier this year on 35mm. Those first fifteen minutes alone. The ominous hills and soundtrack. Reeling.
  7. Interesting viewpoint but does satire not have an illuminating aspect to it.
  8. Ah right I though there was something in particular re the national team.

  10. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: One More Time With Feeling Sky on demand. Incredibly poignant and beautifully shot film as the album Skeleton Key is recorded a year after the death of Nick Cave’s son from falling from a cliff near Brighton. If you like his music then it’s a must watch. If you don’t care for it much then I’d say still watch because as the film unfolds there’s interviews with Nick (and to lesser extent his wife) as they try to come to terms with his grief. Poetic commentary from Cave at times too. Clearly not uplifting subject matter however I felt there was a beauty to how Cave and his wife try and deal with the grief, and the film is sensitively done.
  11. Omg. I’m reading the memory alpha of that episode as a reminder and even that’s boring me to tears.
