  1. Thought this was decent, though I agree with your spoilered point. Otherwise very entertaining with non-annoying leads.
  2. Got a copy of this last week after waiting for the price to drop a bit. I loved 2016 Doom. This is quite disappointing. The combat sections are fun if tough and sometimes frustrating, but what in the world possessed them to include the terrible platforming sections, especially the wall climbing bits. And the story...I have no idea at all what's going on. All we need to know if that somehow the gates of hell have opened and demons have invaded earth, and leave it there.
  3. Enjoyed this. Agree with the above, last 30 minutes didn't quite hold up. I rate Joseph Gordon Levitt, I think he's decent in most of the things I've seen him in. Good Bruce Willis mimic in Looper, and convincing in The Walk and Snowden.
  4. Except that the Misson impossible films have the Cruisemeister on top Cruise form v Daniel Craig as a petulant teenager
  5. Thanks will give it a go. Yes I finished the first one years ago, I'll have to go back and play through it again.
  6. Nearly finished this, agree with most of what's been said previously. Really enjoyed it but the level design really lets it down, it would be much better if it had open levels geared towards acrobatic platforming. I don't really play many games these days, are there any other platformers of a similar quality/feel to this available on xbox one?
  7. Enjoyed this the first time round at the cinema, but on second viewing on Disney+ I thought it was The downbeat first act worked a lot better on second viewing. The heist middle section didn't seem as drawn out as I remember. And so many great moments in the finale. Perfect ending to the series. Marvel should have called it quits after this.
  8. Watched this the other day too, thought it was good, strong performances all round. Maybe would have been better being a bit more ambiguous at the end. Surprised to see the lead actress was also in Split, she was really good.
  9. I remember the trailer making it seem like a crap comedy, but it reminded me more of the Truman Show. It's a great concept and could have been a cult classic, but the Apu-like portrayal of Ngoc ruined it. She really came across as a racist stereotype.
  10. Enioyed this, watched over two sittings. It never dragged that way.
  11. The last episode was great. Presumably there will be three series, have they all been filmed already?
  12. Echoing several other opinions, I enjoyed it, a solid 3 star film, but the triology could have been so much more. The emotional climax of the trilogy was Han's death, and nothing has come close since. I think there's a strong correlation between volume of Harrison Ford and quality of Star Wars film.
  13. Agreed. I'm finding it very difficult to get excited about this. It seemed like last jedi was going in an interesting direction with rey and kylo's force-skyping, only to effectively press the reset button on their relationship in the conclusion. There doesn't seem like there's anywhere interesting for the story to go, hence the emperor being dragged back into things. Hopefully I'm proved wrong.
