Point away at Posh, given our respective league positions I'll take that. Sounds like we're still a striker short of being a reasonable team, hopefully something is being lined up for January.

I guess it's difficult as if you get rid of your manager now, getting someone in and signing targets in January is going to be tight and could potentially be more disruptive. Everyone was clamouring to get of our manager last season, and a 7-0 defeat was enough to see to that, but we were rudderless for quite some time because they didn't have any replacement lined up and if anything the results were just as bad. Can understand your frustration with a manager who won't change the system though, especially when it's obvious it isn't working. Genuinely hope you guys do stay up as I've only ever had good experiences with your fans and you do play decent football. I think if it starts to click again like last season then on your day you can give anyone a run for their money, just difficult getting that confidence to play freely when you're in a rut. We lost to Bradford a week ago so I'm not sure they're necessarily as terrible as their position might suggest. Certainly one of their players, Jack Payne, came to us on loan from Huddersfield last season and was excellent. In a strange way I'm hoping we get knocked out of the FA cup by someone in the next round, we're never going to win it, and I'd prefer we concentrate everything on staying up as we're still in a bad way. Latest drama is that HMRC have issued a winding up petition against us because of unpaid tax bills ...

Didn't manage to listen in as normal as I was out most of day, but from what I've heard apart from a 20 minute spell we struggled to get going at all. I've only seen the 2 minute highlights, but it looks like you've done what we've been doing all season and not been able to finish your chances. Given we're crap at defending corners (as you probably noticed) you should have probably been out of sight by half time! The current RB isn't an RB, and is generally clumsy anyway from what little I've seen of him. We got him from Derby in the summer but he's struggled to actually get into the side (both our actual RBs are injured hence why he's playing) and is supposedly a defensive mid. Given we allegedly paid a record fee for him I'm yet to be convinced. Mackie is a funny one, I think if he was playing against us he'd drive me absolutely mental, as his role seems to be basically be a disrupting influence. Conflicted about whether we should be doing that at all, but given our crappy situation I'll take whatever we can get at the moment and if we got relegated the fact that we played nice wouldn't be much consolation. It's what Ryan Taylor used to do for us to an extent, but Mackie seems to go to the next level. Another one who only really got into the team as we have no other fit strikers (apart from another loanee who has been rubbish so far). Desperately need an actual striker in the January window, as I can't see our current reliance on mids scoring all the goals lasting.

I think we've realised we're not good enough at defending to do that so have to try and attack, which is sort of what happened last night. 4-2 in the end, which might sound comfortable but didn't feel like it! Strange team Rochdale, played some open passing football going forward but defensively looked as bad as we were at the start of the season. For once we took our chances and punished them early on. Our keeper seems to be going through a bit of a dodgy spell which contributed to both their goals, but given the number of points he's saved us over the last few seasons can't really begrudge the odd mistake, hopefully he's not carrying an injury. Given our record on the road you're in with a good shout at the weekend I reckon.

Well I thought we had started to turn the season around, beat Gillingham fairly comfortably, then coasted the FA cup replay against FGR 3 nil, which meant 9 games unbeaten .. then of course we do our classic thing of losing to a team who are playing crap. Had a think about it, and I'm not sure we've actually won a game on the road all season .. maybe the manager should have a little think about that as something obviously isn't working! I felt a sense of inevitability as I listened to us batter Bradford in the first 20 minutes but fail to score, from then on I knew it was only going to go one way and of course who scores for them? Someone who played for us last season We've turned down Nile Ranger so it wasn't all bad news this week.

Suspect you might be facing off against Forest Green based on our first performance against them. Woeful. Just looked like no-one was really interested, no urgency to our play. We've gone from seemingly not conceding any goals, but struggling to score, to going 3 up against Scunny then it somehow ending up 3-3! So at the moment we're consistently inconsistent. Injuries really starting to mount up though, first team players currently out: Obika (done for the season), Hall (done for the season), Holmes (can't play more than a couple of games without missing one due to existing injury), Baptiste (dislocated shoulder and op), Mackie (not sure), McMahon (cracked ribs), Garbutt (hamstring), Browne (recurring knee problem), Curruthers (needs an op, out ofr 12 weeks), Ruffels (minor I think), and Whyte has been called up to the NI team. So I have no idea what team is going to be cobbled together for Gillingham at the weekend, maybe give some of the U23 team a run out. Also some rumours that Nile bloody Ranger is training with us, no thanks - I don't want him anywhere near our club.

Beat Shrewsbury pretty comfortably in the end on Saturday, can't remember the last time we scored 2 from headers in a game. It was bloody cold and chucking it down, but couldn't really fault any of the performances and we limited their chances well. Funny in the first half that they just kept lumping long balls over the top and getting nowhere (which in fairness might have worked against us earlier in the season!) but when they actually tried playing some decent football at the start of the second half it was their best spell. Nice to get a win on our 125th anniversary. With Scunny, Gillingham, and Bradford up next it should be a good opportunity to build some momentum and get us moving away from the bottom hopefully.

Eeked out a goalless draw at Bristol, not a terrible result given our current form. Baptiste dislocated his shoulder during the match, and Obika is out for the season after rupturing his ACL in a reserve match.. can't remember a season with so many injuries so early on. Crazy. We still can't finish, so despite being on top all of the first half we couldn't bloody score, but at least we've tightened up at the other end and haven't conceded a goal in 3 games now.

Both teams looked pretty poor to be honest, you had a decent spell 15 minutes before half time but we were spared by your finishing. Second half it was quite one sided, although you had a few decent chances, after your number 4 got sent off though that was it effectively. The obvious issues were that your defense is slow, ours is slow, but sometimes they made Henry look quick (he's not). ASB was with us last season on loan and apart from getting a bit bigger he seems to be the same player, slow and mistake prone. Was surprised he wasn't subbed at half time as he was on a yellow and had been given a final warning. Also your finishing is as devastating as ours usually is! I don't know if was just yesterday but your keeper didn't look comfortable at all either. Defensively we looked more organised than we have, putting Mous in front of the back 4 seems to be working. Our first choice keeper was back and had to make a couple of decent saves. Also Browne was back, him and Holmes are both pretty quick so were causing issues all afternoon. Mackie played the best I've seen this season, reflected by him getting MoM. First time I can remember this season that we looked like a coherent team, rather than a bunch of individuals. Not raising my hopes that this is us turning our season round, but it was nice not having to tell everyone who asked on the way back to the pub that we'd lost again. Great support though, you must have brought 1200-1300? Felt sorry for them afterwards, travelling that far, to our sh*te stadium, then watching a performance like that. Carey was frequently going ape at other players, in fairness to him it did look like some of them didn't bother turning up.

Enjoy your three points, we look crap! Well we managed a clean sheet last time but had pretty much zero goal threat. In a normal season a draw away to Southend would be a decent result, for whatever reason we never bloody beat them on their patch. Desperately hoping our first choice keeper is back for that game, I think he's playing in the tinpot on Tuesday night so I guess it will depend on how that goes.

Utter sh*te. Lost to a rubbish Luton side and we are in serious trouble now. Manager has now had long enough for things to settle and we have a number of obvious problems. He's obsessed with 4-2-3-1 but we don't have the players to make it work, also given that we never change this opposition sides can setup to counter it easily. No-one looks like they really know exactly what they should be doing, probably not helped by KR and his two assistants constantly shouting instructions from the touchline. Some of his team selections are also baffling and I can only assume personalities are clashing behind the scenes. We desperately need a striker, the recruitment for that position over the summer was woeful with KR chasing a youngster from Reading on loan who it's become apparent is not the solution. Our only other striker (who in fairness was not signed by him) never looks like scoring. To the extent that our attacking mids and wingers looked like they were refusing to give the ball to him and choosing to go it alone. Defensively we're a shambles, any high ball into the box immediately turns into a danger situation for us. How we've become so much worse in this area compared to the last season I have no idea. The two established full backs we've signed are worse than last season (I'll leave Norman out of that as he's been decent and is good prospect for the future) . We look disorganised and are making too many stupid mistakes. Going forward we're plodding and predictable, meaning it usually requires an outstanding individual effort from someone to make something happen. In short, we're not playing as a team. I can't see the chairman sacking him, given he's got a contract till 2020, but we're averaging half a point per game. Doesn't take any difficult sums to work out that won't be enough, and I think if he stays we're looking at League 2 next season.

Haha, they were a class apart - don't think they really even had to get into third gear really. They came to get a job done and did it pretty ruthlessly. A good performance from us though (despite the score), were organised and setup to make things as difficult as we could for them, showed some grit, and had a few neat passages of play without really threatening much. We might have been able to hold out at one goal down, but you don't win anything by losing by a goal - so we went for it around the 80th minute and had a lot of our players in and around their box. Couldn't handle the speed and precision of their break and they hit us. Shame about the third, but everyone was visibly shot by then, they had been given the runaround for 90 minutes and given everything. Still an enjoyable night, just to see a team of that quality in person was an experience, David Silva in particular was something else and got a round of applause from us when he went off. Our team came over to the fans and got clapped off at the end, even though it was a loss there was no shame in it and hopefully they'll take some confidence from that performance into the weekend. Although you can't really compare the styles of Man City and AFC Wimbledon!

More of the same from us against Walsall, they looked pretty ordinary but it was clear each player knew exactly what their role was and what they needed to do. We on the other hand looked a bit rudderless and only really injected and urgency when we went 2 down. Getting worrying now, I think the manager needs to accept he doesn't have the players he needs to play the system he wants to. To top it all off it took me close to 3 hours to drive home from South London because the traffic was crap, which meant I had to run to the ground in the rain and missed kick off, they had run out of bloody pies, and we lost. A day to forget.

Didn't this happen last year to an extent too? Then turned around? I seem to remember when we visited you away last season we were both in a bit of a rut. Goalless draw away at Wycombe for us - sounded like we were all over them for most of the first half and the start of the second but couldn't find the back of the net. Better than a loss I suppose, and we usually struggle against physical, anti-football teams, but frustrating as it sounds like an opportunity missed. Much like last season, the lack of an established striker is really hurting us, plus I don't think KR's insistence on playing a lone striker works if you don't have a player who suits that role (which we don't). Weirdly Wycombe fans seem to have invented a rivalry that doesn't actually exist and have been calling it a "derby" despite the fact we're completely indifferent about them.
