  1. Black Panther - Chadwick Boseman - Feb 2018

Buzzfeed Buzzshmeed, but there’s a whole lot of people on twitter doing the same thing: https://www.buzzfeed.com/craigsilverman/trolls-are-posting-fake-claims-of-being-assaulted-at?utm_term=.osBMeMnQ22&ref=mobile_share
  2. Black Panther - Chadwick Boseman - Feb 2018

This is quite possibly one of the worst posts I've seen on here in a long time. Nestled in your attempt at some sort of 'defence' is a display of ignorance so unashamed it's truly quite shocking. Is this really how you view African-American culture and people? This is how little you view their vast and diverse contributions to society and culture? No matter what African-Americans do and achieve, all they boil down to is a couple of LaShawnDa's and Kwanzaa. Delightful
  3. Christmas!

I’m in trouble already because I’ve already drunk 3/4 of the 22€ bottle of ‘Christmas Port’ and kept calling it ribena. I’ve bought a 6€ bottle to make it up to my dad
  4. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Nook goes mobile

Cant work out how to add myself to the list from my phone, but I’ve added everyone on there!

  6. Cassoulet

My neighbour here in cassoulet country made it for me using Julia Child’s recipe, and it was as close to authentic as I’ve ever had homemade to be taste wise, it just doesn’t have any duck in it. http://www.science.smith.edu/dftwiki/index.php/Julia_Child's_Cassoulet_Recipe But then this guy from the NY Times has a recipe that involves a whole duck, which sounds fucking delicious, quite frankly. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2012/02/26/magazine/whole-duck-cassoulet.html?referer= Good luck, it takes bloody ages.
  7. Christmas!

I'm at my parents this year along with one sister and my brother. My dad and I generally do the bulk of the cooking, pissed, and shout at everyone to help prep. We will be having the following feast for 5 of us (4 meat eaters, 1 vegetarian); To start: Foie gras (we live in the south of France so it's not illegal meats) with fig confit and sweet wine Boring Brother™ will have a carrot, spinach and tuna terrine, which is really fucking delicious, so I'll probably steal a bit too and then get shouted at. The Good Bit: Turkey Vegetarian Nut Roast Stuffing x 3 - Sage and Onion (for v plates); Traditional sausagemeat and sage; Cranberry, apple and sausagemeat Pigs in Blankets Roast Parsnips and Carrots Roast Potatoes (Boring Brother™ will have separate ones, not cooked in duck fat) Cauliflower and Leek Cheese Brussels Sprouts Yorkshire Pudding Bread Sauce Gravy Dessert: Homemade Christmas Pudding. Everyone else will have brandy butter, but I'll have custard, everyone will get on at me about how much I have, I'll tell them to fuck off. Traditional fare, nothing too exciting, just a fuckton of deliciousness and I CANNOT WAIIIIT

    RECI-PLEASE! @Gotters
  9. Take A Pic Of Your Dinner!

That's so annoying. Scimitar it is, then!
  10. Take A Pic Of Your Dinner!

Could you maybe go at it with a vegetable peeler for that deliciously thin sensation?
  11. Your food guilty pleasures

What do you mean?? It's this...
  12. Your food guilty pleasures

I have the most vile Cordon Bleu based guilty pleasure, but it is so delicious I can't stop eating them. It's a hot cordon bleu with cheap hamburger cheese on top, sandwiched between white bread spread with burger sauce. Fuck me. It's the best hangover cure the world has ever known
  13. Sunday Lunch

Had slow roast leg of lamb last night, cooked in white wine, herbs and honey for 3 hours and then finished off with peas. It's my favourite recipe and with roast potatoes, it's just perfect. Before: After: It's this recipe here, although I don't use anywhere near as many peas as she says: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/slow_roast_leg_of_lamb_85170
  14. Red Dead Redemption 2 - Out October 26th 2018

Here's the map redone (not by me) so it's a bit clearer and with the map from RDR added on (the maps overlap with Great Plains and Tall Trees). Just looking at it is making me giddy. New Bordeaux seems to be a stand in for New Orleans. I'M EXCITED
  15. Daredevil - TV Series

Just finished episode 8. Really enjoying it, the fight scenes are amazing, but like some one said a few pages ago, I find it a little distracting sometimes that he looks right at people when he's talking to them, or sometimes he looks at things when he's touching them etc. I know he's supposed to be hyper-aware of what's around him and where things are, but I occasionally find it a bit difficult to swallow and find myself following his eyes instead of the dialogue. Other than that absolutely love it, Charlie Cox is brilliant and the casting in general is superb.
