    Playstation Vita

http://www.sfbags.com/products/ps-vita-cases/ps-vita-cases.php The Waterfield Cityslicker, I imported the brown leather version. The build quality is outstanding. There is enough space for 10-15 games and 3 memory card holders in the zipped area. By far the best case available.

    windows mobile

Search the modaco.com forum for Masterall. He has released two amazing emulators, Picodrive (a megadrive emulator) and Final Burn (a NeoGeo & CPS1&2 emulator). both work a treat on the Windows Mobiles I've owned.

    GP32X

True, playing Street Fighter is pointless, but Sonic, Mario, DoDonPachi, Metal Slug, Devil Crush, Gouls n Ghosts etc all play very well. I use the landscape screen and hold the device with the joypad to the left, just like holding a gameboy, and you can map the keys to whatever buttons you wish.

If you are close to the end of a mobile phone contract I would suggest upgrading to a HTC Windows Mobile: http://www.europe.htc.com/products/ They are basically 3G enabled Pocket PC Smartphones. Each mobile operator has their own branding for them, I own the Orange SPV M3100 (HTC TyTN). I've got MAME CE3 running the old classics, Final Burn (running Capcom CPS1&2, Cave and NEOGEO MVS), Picodrive (running Megadrive) and Pocket SNES. All run perfect in full screen at full speed with sound. With a 2Gb card I've probably got about 300 games as well as Pocket TV for watching films. Awesome! I havn't bothered using my PSP for months. There are C64 and Spectrum emulators too, and I believe a working Amiga as well but I havn't tried them yet. Check out the forum at Modaco: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=Search...te=%2Bmasterall

Has a game ever influenced you in 'real life'?

After playing Crackdown I can't walk past a Smart Car without getting a sudden urge to kick it down the street.

    Taito

Taito were bought out by Square Enix in 2005, see the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taito_Corporation Some ex-Taito employees went on to start G.Rev who made Border Down, Senko No Ronde and helped Treasure on Ikaruga & Gradius V: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G.Rev I used to love the Taito games, especially Rastan & the Darius series.

    Forgotten GBA Gems....

I recommend Pinball of the Dead. Great little pinball game in the same vein as Devil's Crush / Dragons Fury on the Megadrive.

    Emulators for Windows Mobile

Hi all, first post I've made! If you are interested in emulators on your Windows mobile then go to Modaco forums. There you will find the following: Final Burn, simply the best mobile emulator there is, it fully emulates almost all NeoGeo MVS ROMs as well as CPS1&2 and Cave. Therefore you can play Metal Slug, Dodonpachi, Strider, Street Fighter Alpha etc (with sound!) all on your mobile!!!! Apparently its been nominated for Pocket PC software of the year for 2007. You can download it from the following link: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...p;hl=final+burn The bloke who wrote it also has reworked Picodrive which fully emulates the Megadrive in full screen landscape with sound and has reworked PocketSNES so you can play SNES roms with sound. You can search and download them from the same forum. Let me know if you have any problems I'll give you a hand. They all work perfectly on my SPV M3100. Cheers!
