  1. The sale on the Ultimate Edition was the push I finally needed to start this. I'm already over 20 hours in, it has ruined my sleep pattern and am completely hooked. Bring on the weekend! I do miss not having it on a handheld, but on the other hand it looks gorgeous. Voice acting is superb too.
  2. Not really expecting anything from this. 3DS has Luigi's Mansion and Mario and Luigi 3, don't see that taking more than a minute or so. The online serivce needs some concrete details, current lack of info makes it seem unfinished. Smash has just had its own direct (and E3), and have had the recent indie spotlights too, so hopefully skip over those quickly. Pokemon will probably eat up a good chunk of time, and a couple of surprises for this year. Ooh, I'd like Spyro Reignited officially confirmed too. My biggest hope is a proper Virtual Console service (Mario Sunshine please, but I'd take a remaster too), with Wii U purchases eligible for transfer/upgrades, can't see it though. Could be the Starfox GP reveal, that would be exciting!

    Nintendo Switch

(Apologies if has been posted elsewhere) A few first party titles have been discounted this week (MK8, Arms and Splatoon 2). https://nintendoeverything.com/european-switch-eshop-hosting-new-play-online-sale-full-lineup-of-discounts/ I've gone for Mario Kart, seems perfect for digital, but they're all £33.29.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Quick question: do you make elixirs the same way as meals? Meals seem fairly logical to make, but I haven't really bothered with potions and whatnot. Really enjoying it so far, currently tackling the third beast. Has been a big surprise, as I don't normally do open-world games.

    Hollow Knight - Soulsvania platformer

Picked this up in the sale, lovely on the Switch. Looking forward to getting stuck in.
  6. My copy arrived the other day, and I was blown away by the opening. Fantastic stuff, and can't wait to get stuck into the game now.

    Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash

The amazon.es price has now fallen to €23 (€27 delivered)- less than £20, and it includes the amiibo.

    Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash

Fantastic, thank you. Pre-ordered at amazon.de and .es. It might be worth checking the latter, as, despite no mention of an amiibo being included (though that is the only version being sold IIRC), the price is €30. Amazon tend to be pretty good with honouring these deals too, so might be worth a try there too. Edit- Just went on the live chat and confirmed the game does indeed include the Amiibo. Link
  9. Western release confirmed, fantastic news. Slightly worrying at the lack of news about TGAA, but still plenty of time for it to happen yet.

    Kingdom Hearts 3

Big Hero 6 and Tangled! SOLD!

    Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash

Out of stock already? Edit- On a related note, were the Japanese Chibi-Robo games (the plant one and the Japanese-only one) meant to be good)?
  12. I've got a spare (what I think is) Kid Icarus Uprising?

    Speedruns - SGDQ 2018: June 24th - July 1st

Having never seen it done before, the Yoshi's Island 100% speedrun to open the event was incredible. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it before, some amazing skills on display. Swordless Zelda was a good watch too, and I really enjoyed the DKC 3 Lost World and Tetris segments. A few other runs, like Ori, Shovel Knight and Shantae, look interesting too, but I'm going to wait until I've finished the games before watching them.

Zero Time Dilemma: Zero Escape 3

Incredible news. Plenty of time to replay the first two as well.

Just set up xpadder so I can use RB as a screenshot button, works like a charm. Half Minute Hero and Shovel Knight are both very screen-shottable games, and now I don't have the (first world) problem of having to get up to press F12 every time.
