  1. Finally arrived. Thanks. Not many to go now.
  2. Ah, I see what you mean. Yes, I have felt that my Ridge Racers and Everybody's Golf are a bit redundant, although as I got them with my launch day PSP, I keep them because they remind me of that day - the PSP is long gone, for newer models. I didn't know there was a Pursuit Force 2. Might check that out.
  3. Thanks. May I ask which sequels you mean in your second paragraph, besides Makaimura?
  4. What are the differences between the two Makaimura games on the PSP?
  5. That's Japan in general. A few years ago the government issued a guideline (not a law, just a guideline) that firms limit overtime to 100 hours a month! If a month has 20 working days, that's 5 hours of overtime a day. And that's the new recommended limit, so Christ knows what the old one was. That's in a culture famous for unpaid overtime to boot. If Nintendo didn't make their staff put in shitloads of overtime, they'd be one of few major companies in Japan that don't.
  6. So many users had a collection of shovelware but shovelware didn't sell in the numbers publishers imagined? Seems a bit contradictory. A look at the million-seller list on Wii doesn't have that much shovelware in it, and has many games, such as Mario Kart Wii, which probably more or less held their value throughout the generation. The much shorter PS3 list, even discounting Wii Sports, certainly has plenty of games which were available much more cheaply than full price during the PS3's life. I think there's probably nothing wrong with the Wii attachment rate, and the
  7. Anyone got a source for the Wii's tiny / less than stellar attachment rate? According to this, it's higher than PS3 (slightly) and 360. https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/Software_tie_ratio Are more reliable sources contradicting it? Edit: here's a link from Nintendo themselves confirming an attachment rate of over 9, which is one of their best. https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/finance/hard_soft/
  8. I loved the bit where all three senseis are giving an inspiring pep talk to their students at the same time. Kreese is good, but Johnny is hilarious. The actor who plays Kreese looks phenomenally good for his age.
  9. I was mostly a Spectrum gamer, but it rarely happened to me. One or two games didn't load consistently, but they were very much the exception not the rule.
  10. I never experienced any of that. Mine was just stick the game on to load, go and do something else, come back to see if it had loaded (usually it had).
  11. Console released before 2000 - retro. Works for me.
  12. Yeah, I got the cheapest, the remaining ones have a scalper tax on them. I got mine for just over 14,000.
  13. Seems there is an edition of Aleste Collection which comes with a white Game Gear Micro, with the Aleste games on it. https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B08JBYJ5G4/ref=pd_aw_sbs_63_1/357-9203737-9058451?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B08JBYJ5G4&pd_rd_r=1702aa5a-4ece-41af-b65e-4592c4755f28&pd_rd_w=0PSiW&pd_rd_wg=DTTBi&pf_rd_p=9341e244-f71d-4c8a-8950-9456431ce234&pf_rd_r=Z98WPRDEAJEFPXKBBA4G&psc=1&refRID=Z98WPRDEAJEFPXKBBA4G I ordered that today. Will be selling my barebones version of just the game.
  14. I haven't played it for ages, but I know that I have played it with my nephews, and they only have two joycons, so you must be doing something wrong.
  15. You can play two player with just two joycons. I think you can in table-top mode too.
