  2. Also Son was happily to sign a new contract last summer when - to be blunt, we were in mess, so there no way he will want to leave now, when we probably have the best squad we have ever had in the Premier League.
  3. I found it hard to move past Gemma Chan and Richard Madden,’whose relationship was like two IKEA flat packs trying to assemble each other.
  4. I decided to tackle the Subterranean Shunning Grounds last night. What a great area! It was hard as nails, but felt the most like a Dark Souls level of any place in the game so far. I think it was because there weren't any Sites of Grace to reach, it was all about opening up shortcuts to the first Site of Grace. Very satisfying. I didn't even complete the area - I think I was close to opening the door opposite the grace, but died to one of those big brutes.

    Great CD Revival

HMV isn’t bad for CDs. Prices for current releases are broadly similar to other places, and they often sell back catalogue stuff for cheap. Their vinyl prices are lolsome, however.
  6. Urgh this is why I hate screen protectors. Couple of bubbles that won't leave.
  7. I’m not in the camp of thinking it’s a classic really. I like a lot of the gameplay aspects for sure, and it’s a lovely looking game with style coming out of the wazoo. However I think it’s the most egregious example yet of no-one being able to stand up to Kojima and telling him that as a storyteller and director he’s fucking shit and that there’s no shame in asking people for help. Great ideas but so hopelessly told I just couldn’t enjoy it as much as I’d have liked to.

  10. Who said this ep was filler? A lot happened including a lot of character development. I think the show is an improvement on the comic. I haven’t read the comic but I read the plot outline and it’s pretty bleak. This is a bit more light hearted but still kinda mean.
  11. Felt like an hour of mostly filler to me, spiced up with a couple of trademark WTF moments. I'd been really enjoying this season until last night, and have high expectations for the season finale next week. Whilst not quite a bottle ep this weeks wasn't great I felt. The cartoon stuff I found really irritating.
  12. Yeah, that’s the one, you click redeem and it’ll give you a code.
  13. Today
  14. Half Life 2 stuff? I remember there being a delivery of a weighted companion cube at one point
  15. There’s a case to be made IMO that SEUCK is the most impressive piece of software ever released for the C64.
  16. I didn't mind it honestly, felt like I was being eased back in.
  17. It’s a really interesting topic. As I get older and my time is harder and harder to secure for gaming, the main thing I value is concision in storytelling. I really enjoyed the Horizon games, but the absolutely endless dialogue trees - all beautifully acted and technically amazing - had to be skipped 90% of the time. Playing Elden Ring and Breath of the Wild afterwards made me really appreciate games with simple stories and judicious cut scenes.
  18. Levy only sells big players who force a move, he's never flogged someone off purely to make a quick buck.
  19. Sinister is excellent, the home movies in particular.
  20. That's one of its best episodes. It's not always that good, but most episodes have their moments. It's aways empathetic, humanistic and unabashed when exploring themes. After a rough start, the show quickly settles down in to a real love letter to TNG, sprinkled with genuine humour. It's evolved further into it's own thing as it's gone along. I wouldn't recommend binging it. Amble your way through with episodes here and there.
  21. Depending on what you consider an "individual port", just the early-mid 2000s versions on mobile would push it to the top of the list. I remember having a spreadsheet with over a hundred (I think it was about 108, iirc) SKUs / versions of just original Tetris that I needed to get released.
  22. Really enjoyed it. Yes it was emotionally manipulative with all those heartfelt goodbyes and "I love you man" conversations but still some nice scenes, especially with It did suffer from Return of the King syndrome where I thought it was ending soon but a quick check showed it had 20 minutes left.
